Entire day spent reading up on how eagles fight mid-air and how wing structure works. I’m planning to enter an art contest with the theme of ‘jousting’ and thought it’d be cool to make the ‘steeds’ giant golden eagle versions of these guys: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gamayun. I’m not sure what the riders will be though. Has to be something to fit slavic mythology. Any suggestions?
